The third and final post of pictures from Daniel’s recent trip to Bozeman…

Fishing tenkara in the muck at Nelson's Spring Creek in Livingston, MT

Daniel was there partly to teach guide Rhea Topping more about tenkara.

Demonstrating tenkara fly-tying at Fins and Feathers, our favorite fly shop in Bozeman.

Daniel gets ready to fish Portal Creek. Hazards: mosquitos and moose. Plenty of both.

Just before he left, Daniel tied this "mamushi" kebari with snakeskin.

Mamushi kebari. Always use poisonous snakes for your snakeskin kebari. Non-venomous snakeskin lacks sufficient oomph. And in answer to your question.

Fins and Feathers, where you’ll find one of Bozeman’s most enthusiastic tenkara anglers, John Geer. And where, as of a few weeks ago, you will also find Tenkara USA rods for sale next to the Orvis rods.

Nelson’s Spring Creek. Nice people. Nice fish, too.
